When looking for an Adoption Lawyer in Maryland you need to know that there are two kinds of adoptions you can do. That is, you go through an agency or adopt independantly.



An agency adoption is arranged through an agency that helps to place a child into your care. This will usually involve a local department of social services. There are two types of agencies - public and private. Both have distinct differences.
