PCOS Symptoms:
Could you have polycystic ovaries?

pcos symptoms
PCOS Symptoms are quite recognizable. The thing is, alot of women mistaken their pcos as symptoms of their menstrual cycle, or dismiss their weight gain or hair growth in unusual places as part and parcel of getting older. Let me tell you more about this syndrome, including what it is, how it affects you and what you can do about it if you have it.

What Is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome?

If you have polycystic ovaries, you have fluid filled sacs in your ovaries. It is an endocrine disorder and is more common than you think. It actually affects about 1 in 5 women.
Cysts vary in size, and you could have a lot in one ovary, and near none in the other... or you could just have a lot of cysts in both ovaries.
The problem with having a lot of cysts is that it can contribute to infertility problems. If you have a mild case of PCOS it is still highly possible to naturally conceive but it can just make it a little harder.

Here's a video from a lady who also has polycystic ovaries, she puts things in a great way for you to understand how it affects you:

How Can You Manage PCOS Symptoms?

The best form of polycystic ovarian management is to adopt a better and healthier lifestyle. There are ways you can better manage and control your PCOS symptoms.
If you can eat a lot better and exercise regularly you really going to reign in the symptoms and control the disorder a lot better.
A lot of women who have PCOS can have weight problems, and remaining an unhealthy weight can actually exacerbate the symptoms more, so it's really in your best interest, particularly if you are trying to conceive, to reclaim better health.
There's a saying, that you need to respect yourself before others will respect you. Think of things in that way. Respect yourself and try to become a better person and think positively.
After all, if you are trying to have a baby, you are bringing another person into the world, and I'm sure you would want to be the best mother you could be for your precious gift.
