There are certain foods which could be classified as fertility foods because the vitamins and nutrients they contain are just what your body needs to help you get pregnant easier.
If you are in the process of trying to get pregnant, you should start by eating a healthier diet now.
Eat regular meals, and make sure your portions aren't too big. Consistent regular portions are a great way to maintain a proper body weight whilst fueling your body to keep it healthy.

Check out this video about great fertility food choices to maximize your chances of conception:

The following poses a suggestion to what type of food you could eat for a day (consult your doctor or dietician first):

You could have a piece of toast with baked beans on it for breakfast, followed by a yoghurt for morning tea. You could follow up with some chicken and salad in a pita bread for lunch, followed by a piece of fruit like an apple or orange for afternoon tea.
Finish the day with a dinner that has protein and vegetables in it. It's always good to have the meat part of your meal about the size of the palm of your hand. So you could have something like lamb, beef, pork or chicken and as a side to the meat some vegetables such as broccoli and cauliflower, with a cob of corn and perhaps peas or beans and small piece of pumpkin or potato.
One that is filled with fruit, vegetables, lots of water, protein, fish and iron-rich foods like red meat, green vegetables and pulses.

What Exactly are Good Foods For Fertility?

Great fertility food choices are things like blueberries, mixed nuts and fruits, green vegetables - and the greener the better!
Orange colored vegetables are also good choices, and try avoid drinking things like soft-drinks (even the diet ones), and avoid junk foods like cake and crisps and chocolate.
