First Pregnancy Symptoms:
Recognize The Earliest Signs
If you are pregnant you won't get any signs until implantation. This is when the embryo will burrow into the lining of your uterus. This doesn't happen until around 7 to 10 days after ovulation.
Other than using a pregnancy test to confirm if you are pregnant, there are other signs you can look out for.

Early Signs of Pregnancy
If you experience the following you could be experiencing first pregnancy symptoms:
- your hCG levels will rise continually.- your breasts could become sore, this is usually a result of the hormone progesterone rising in your body.
- your breast can also change in appearance, particularly your nipples and aureola (the skin around the nipple).
- you may get more tired than usual, and also have trouble sleeping properly.
- you might need to urinate more frequently. Your bladder properly won't even be full each time, but your hormones are just preparing you for what's to come.
- your cervical mucus can increase due to the surge in progesterone.
- you could experience cramping and pain (similar to period pains almost). You could bleed a little bit, which is also normal.
- missing your period is one way you will know if you are pregnant, although you must still test to see if you are. Sometimes your periods may not be running on time for various reasons including stress or poor diet.
- you might become constipated or very gassy, this is a normal sign of pregnancy.
- if you chart your fertility with a basal body thermometer (bbt) you will notice your thermal shift around ovulation (if you are ovulating correctly). If you get pregnant, your temperature will stay elevated, if you aren't your temperature will usually drop again when your periods come along.
- getting morning sickness is another tell-tale but undesirable sign of pregnancy. You could feel anywhere between mildy nauseous to violently ill.
- your vagina color may change, turning purplish.
- your sense of smell increases during pregnancy, you could be extra-sensitive to smells you had no problem with previously.
- the food you crave and things you like to taste may completely change.
- you could have breakouts on your skin and pimple flare-ups.
- alot of people get a cold or flu when they are first pregnant, this is because of all the hormonal changes going on in the body.
First pregnancy symptoms vary from person to person. You could have alot of these signs, or you may have some. For a lucky few, there will be no signs!
If you are pregnant, goodluck with your journey and I hope it is as painless and symptoms-free as possible!
