Symptoms of Fatigue
You might have trouble focusing on things and have trouble finishing and completing tasks as your concentration may lapse.
If you have that general feeling of being run down, than don't worry, because you are in the same boat with about 1 in 5 people.
Today our lives are hectic. We place so much stress on ourselves, and with the way technology has gone, ironically we've given ourselves more work to do.
If you have fatigue you could have memory lapses and problems with remembering things. You could have headaches regularly and experience muscle pains.
You can even feel depressed and fatigued after eating, infact it's quite common for people to experience that.
Alot of people can become fatigued and recover in a few hours, but if you have chronic and serious fatigue that consistently last longer than 6 months, you may just have chronic fatigue syndrome.

The Causes of Fatigue
Fatigue symptoms can happen when you exert yourself mentally and/or physically. So if you go a little beyond where your body is comfortable, and your body or mind becomes stressed, you can actually become fatigued.
If the fatigue lasts longer than a couple of days, it becomes prolonged fatigue.
If you don't change what is causing the fatigue and continuing doing the activity (for instance - if your work is causing you fatigue - it may not go away!) than your symptoms could worsen, developing into abnormal fatigue. Your life can begin to feel like a living hell when you experiencing the harrowing symptoms day in and day out.
How To Diagnose And Treat Fatigue
You can try and incorporate relaxation techniques into your daily routine. Try some yoga, or listening to relaxing music. Indulge in meditation or do something relaxing like taking a warm bath with candles.
Get proper sleep and try and set your sleep times to a routine.
Eat a healthy balanced diet, and if you are overweight, try to lose some weight to help give yourself a better lifestyle and reduce risks of heart disease and other weight-related problems.
Try to do consistent exercise, but don't overdo it. 30 minutes a day is all you need to do.
Try to be healthier in general. Quit smoking, don't binge drink, avoided caffeinated drinks like coffee and soft drinks (that includes the diet ones!).
You can prevent fatigue symptoms by giving yourself a good work and life balance. Try not to exert yourself if you are beginning to feel overwhelmed, or tired or pushed past your breaking point.
Alot of people recover from fatigue with rest, it's being able to recognize when you need to slow down that might just help you recover quicker.
