Got Sore Boobs?
Find out why, and how you can reduce the pain

Sore boobs can occur whether you are pregnant, or getting close to your period. The level of progesterone in your body

increases after you ovulate and this can contribute to your breasts becoming swollen and painful. It's quite normal to have some breast pain, so don't panic too much about it.
If you are already pregnant your breasts can become so painful that you won't want to wear clothes, and even anything brushing against them can be painful and quite sensitive.
Again, this is normal and is simply your bodies way of reacting and responding to the increase of pregnancy hormones coursing through your body.
As a result you could experience problems like engorgement, mastitis, blocked ducks and cracking nipples.
You will find your body begins adjusting a lot better from 8 weeks onwards, and the pain should hopefully subside a little.

How To Relieve Sore Boobs Naturally

Your breasts be sore for a number of reasons - including injury, muscle strain, menstrual pain, pregnancy and even fibrocystic breast disease.
You can overcome breast pain naturally by taking herbs like Marigold, also called Calendula, or Chamomile which is great for relieving pain and inflammation, along with reducing discomfort.

Techniques to reduce painful breasts

If you are pregnant and experiencing breast pain there are also things you can do yourself to try and reduce your discomfort.
If your baby wants milk, don't hold out - give your baby milk on demand it will actually help your breasts. If you are trying to keep a routine with your baby, express the milk into a container instead.
Try to eat healthily and get plenty of rest, keep your nipples aerated between feeding to give them a chance to breathe.
Check your baby is attached to your nipple properly and begin a feed on the least sore breast, swapping to the worse breast once the milk is actually flowing.
You can get over-the-counter medication that will help you too, but it is preferable to try to fix things naturally if possible.
Goodluck with everything!
