Benefits Of Evening Primrose Oil

Benefits Of Evening Primrose Oil

benefits of evening primrose oil
The Benefits Of Evening Primrose Oil are endless, especially if you are trying to get pregnant.
Evening Primrose comes from the plant that contains gamma linolenic acid (GLA) the fatty acid that does all the great things to help with a variety of bodily functions.
Did you know that it helps give you more fertile cervical mucus. Your cervical mucus is the very ingrediant you need to help allow the sperm to go through the cervix on its journey to the egg.
There are different types of cervical mucus, but it's the fertile mucus that allows the sperm entry to meet up with the egg, for hopeful fertilization.
Evening Primrose Oil can also help with with pre-menstrual pains and problems such as breast pain, cramping and general aches. It's a great anti-inflammatory.

How To Take Evening Primrose Oil

Evening Primrose Oil can be taken in a capsule form. I'm currently taking 3 capsules a day (as directed on the bottle I have - but check yours incase the amount of primrose oil is different per capsule).
You take it from the first day of your period, right up to ovulation. Once you are at ovulation, stop taking it until your next period comes again (or hopefully you may be pregnant and not have to worry about that for a while!).
If you are trying to get pregnant, it's always good to have this herb in your system a good month or two before you plan on conceiving.
This wonderful herb has also been touted as being a great solution to things like heart disease, pre-eclampsia (which is a condition that threatens pregnancies causing complications with high blood pressure), arthritis, depression, immunity problems and even obesity and alcoholism.
People have used it for digestive complaints and liver toxicity problems. It's a great healer because the main thing it does is reduce inflammation.
