There are over 100 different types of cancer. Each with its own set of characteristics.
Unfortunately, if you are displaying any symptoms of cancer your condition is already advanced, which is why prevention and regular cancer screenings are always recommended, to hopefully detect it early.


Having cancer, or having survived cancer can be enough for any person in one life-time, and unfortunately treatment is something you can’t really escape. If you think you might have cancer, early detection is the best method of treatment and management. Many women have gone on to become pregnant after surviving cancer, so if you are trying to conceive, don't lose all hope yet


Cancer Symptoms can include:



- Fatigue and Anemia

- Unintended Weight-loss, even without changing your lifestyle habits

- Physical Pain once cancer begins spreading into organs and nerve endings

- Fever

- Changes in your Bowel Movements ranging from constipation and diarrhea, to blood in the stools or being really gassy.

- Chronic Coughing

There are many different types of cancer and each type has its own usual symptoms. For instance if you have lung cancer you might have chronic coughing accompanied by blood and mucus; or if you have ovarian cancer you might have strong lower back pain.

Having cancer can be very stressful, and many people get cancer. If you suspect you do have it, or already know you have - try to surround yourself with people who will support you. Don't keep your feelings inside and don't be scared to talk about it.

There are support groups around for people who are going through living with cancer, look in your local directory if you feel the need to reach out and talk with others going through the same thing.
