Pre-seed, Oils and Lubricants -
Can you still get pregnant?
It's also worth mentioning that most lubricants inhibit your cervical mucus, which is critical in helping the sperm reach the egg for conception, that's why it's in your best interest to go for a conception friendly lubricant like Pre-seed, or even Conceive-Plus.
Without proper cervical mucus, the vaginas own acidic secretions normally kill sperm, so it is integral to keep the quality of your cervical mucus intact.
There are some fertility-friendly lubricants you can use, but for the most part, stay away from them if you are trying to get pregnant. Did you know that saliva can also slow sperm down? So try and avoid oral sex when trying to conceive.
It's also probably good for you to know that hot water decreases sperm production, so it's best to avoid having intercourse in the water.
Also, men should avoid saunas where it is warmer, and it also helps if men opt for boxer shorts over tighter fitting undies. It all comes down to sperm remaining 2”c cooler than the rest of the body.
Ideally if you can get some foreplay happening, this is your best answer because if you can have your own natural lubrication this is going to benefit you the most when you are trying to conceive.
Ask your partner to spend time with you touching and exploring, kissing and hugging. Try to spend about 15 minutes doing this before intercourse (most women say this is a good time-frame for getting them 'in the mood').
