Which Fertility Herbs,
Vitamins & Minerals
Will Help You Fall Pregnant?
Fertility herbs and vitamins may be able to help you fall pregnant quicker. That's because they might address deficiencies in your body that are preventing you from becoming pregnant.
It was after having synthetic progesterone shots, and trying different creams which kept giving me horrible reactions that I decided I had enough, and that there had to be some natural solutions to my infertility problems out there.
So after some digging around and personal investigation I discovered the Vitex Agnus Cactus, and was so glad I followed my hunch, because the pay-off has been overcoming one of infertility problems.
Below is a list of fertility herbs, vitamins and minerals with a description of what problems they may help to address with regards to your infertility.
Of course like anything it is always best to seek the advice of your healthcare professional before going ahead with taking any fertility herbs, vitamins or minerals.
Evening Primrose Oil
Along with pre-conception tablets, women have said that Evening Primrose Oil is a good supplement to take.It particularly tones the uterus helping to improve your cervical mucus. The quality of your cervical mucus is very important in trying to conceive, this is because it is a prime factor in helping the sperm to reach the egg to fertilize it for conception.
It is best to take Evening Primrose oil from cycle day 1 (first day of your period) to ovulation.

Baby Aspirin
Baby Aspirin is more commonly known for reducing fever, relieving pain and even having cardiovascular benefits, but did you know it has also been linked to improving your chances of fertility?Do talk with your local doctor to make sure it is okay before doing so, but if you've had a miscarriage before, you could indeed benefit from taking baby aspirin.
Even if you haven't had a miscarriage, it may prevent you from having one. Some women don't have a sufficient lining in their uterus, so it doesn't make the area comfortable enough for the egg to implant and start growing.
Baby Aspirin can also prevent clotting or coagulation which can help with fetal blood flow. It's probably a good idea if you do get pregnant to discontinue use of baby aspirin (check with your doctor). Anything under 81mg per tablet, at one a day is usually good. Don't go over this amount.

Vitex Agnus Cactus (Chasteberry, Chaste Tree)
There are many different fertility herbs available to help you fall pregnant, but the one I can personally attest to most, is Vitex Agnus cactus, otherwise known as Chasteberry, or Chaste Tree. You can normally buy Vitex Agnus Cactus at a chemist in the vitamins section. If you are having trouble with your luteal phase (the 2nd half of your cycle from ovulation through to your next period), then these tablets will help you get a better hormonal balance. They also provide some relief from pre-menstrual symptoms.
I had a short luteal phase, basically my progesterone hormone wasn't elevating quick enough or staying high enough to result in a pregnancy.
Progesterone helps turn the uterus from being a hostile environment to a friendly environment for the egg. See without enough progesterone, your uterus isn't a friendly place for a baby to grow, so you are likely to miscarriage.
After 6 months of taking this vitamin, I am having the best progesterone levels ever. Although there are no clinical studies to say so, it has also been known to improve Polycystic Syndrome symptoms. It's worth you researching more into this herb. You mustn't continue taking this herb once pregnant though.
One other thing to note, never take this herb with clomid.
