Urinary Tract Infection Symptoms:
How do you know if you are infected?
If you have one, the infection would have started in your urinary system, that is - somewhere in your kidneys, ureter, bladder or urethra.
The infection happens when bacteria get into your urinary tract which can happen in a number of ways, such as through intercourse, wiping from back to front after a bowel movement, or even from holding on to urinate for too long.
This infection mostly loves to thrive in the lower urinary tract, that is where the bladder and urethra are located.
It is always best to address a urinary tract infection, or UTI, as soon as you detect it, that's because if it goes to your kidneys there can be serious ramifications.
